PLACES TO STAY: Here is a very short list of some of our favorite B&B's along with some of the larger hotels in Burlington. If you need to find different accommodations you can call the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, toll free, (877)-686-5253, or look on the web at www.vermont.org. The

VERMONT, THINGS TO DO: SCS7 is located next to Burlington, VT (the largest city in VT). You will find plenty to do here. The city has a lovely downtown area with an open-air pedestrian mall or walk down to the newly developed waterfront overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain. Both areas offer a wide variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities. There are local museums and galleries to visit or you may want to tour the public sculptures and see the site of the International Stone Symposium held here in 1990. There is a 13-mile bike path along the lake, which is perfect for everyone from joggers, bladers and cyclists. If you want to play in the water you can rent boats and kayaks, or if you prefer you can take a sunset cruise on one of the many charter boats available. Public parks and beaches are located right off the bike path. If that isn't enough Montreal is only a short drive away or go south and head for the scenic mountains of Vermont. |
